Great at bed-time

I have a three and a half month old son and this is a miracle when putting him to sleep. He loves the image and the sounds (the water drops are his favorite). I would recommend this to anyone.
Great choice!!

We bought this toy for my twins when they were two months old. They watched the projection scene and seemed to enjoy the music and ocean sounds. They love white noise. Now, at 4 months they enjoy it even more. They reach for it and stare at it and sometimes cry when it shuts off.
The music selection is terrific.
It does have volume control. A high and low selection.
It plays several songs and ocean sounds, you can choose.
The projection scenes are very different so offering variety and it shows up much better than I expected.
It can sit in two positions allowing options for the projection.

Get this toy and enjoy it!
19 Month Old Loves It

We bought this for our 19 month son for an upcoming vacation. He loves his Ocean Wonders Aquarium, but it is too heavy and bulky to pack in our luggage. We introduced the projector soother to him the other night and he LOVES it! He likes to name all the animals he sees. The first morning after getting it he shot up in his crib and yelled "octopus" because he wanted me to turn it on before even getting him out of bed. The projector is lightweight and the colors are very bright and vibrant. I wish we had purchased this sooner because it is meant for infants. One improvement I would make is too have an attachment to the crib. It needs to sit on the nightstand and once it turns off my son has no way of turning it back on like his aquarium. I will not leave it in the crib with him, because the light is very bright. Overall, it is a good product and I recommend it.
Worth it

Reviewer: Melissa,
My daughter loves it, she likes the music and the light show keeps her entertained while falling asleep. Music is loud though even on lowest volume, so I just place a blanket over it to help mute the sound some. Plays the longest which is why I wanted it, most turn off after just 3 to 5 minutes and she sometimes lays there for 10 to 15 minutes before she falls asleep and this stays on 17 to 18 minutes
Simple, but effective

We got this as a shower gift. I, too, thought the image would rotate, but it doesn't. However, my son doesn't care. He stares at the image when projected on the ceiling. It often makes him stop crying. He'll gaze up at the picture and smile. It seems to capture his attention well enough.

If your baby is still in your room with you, you can put it on your nightstand and turn it on with the push of one button for those middle of the night wakings. Now that he's in his crib, we still use it when he wakes up in the middle of the night. There are little feet on the bottom so you can tilt the projector a bit to project the image over the crib/basinette.

There are two images that can be projected -- a full reef scene and a simplified one. You can select which one you want to use. The music is the same as the Fisher Price Aquarium Swing, so if you have that already, you might get sick of the songs. It also has an "ocean" white noise sound. It runs on batteries (still using the same ones after 7 months), and is lightweight enough to take on overnight trips.
